Keep the Ball Rolling - KBR

About the Project

The Keep the Ball Rolling - KBR project is an Erasmus+ initiative aimed at increasing sports participation in Southeast Europe, promoting healthier lifestyles, and supporting inclusivity for individuals of all ages. The project has been implemented through the collaboration of seven partner organizations from Serbia, Cyprus, Croatia, Romania, Turkey, and Bulgaria.

The project focuses on increasing physical activity and fostering greater inclusivity, with a special emphasis on disadvantaged communities. It plans to directly engage more than 1,500 people through sports events held in each partner country and over 300 participants through workshops focusing on inclusivity and health. Additionally, it aims to reach over 700 individuals through conferences, meetings, and similar events.

The KBR project seeks to establish the Southeast Europe Basketball Veterans Network and emphasize core European Union values such as non-discrimination and tolerance. It also aims to promote sportsmanship and inclusive sports practices while fostering a culture of social cohesion and societal equality.

This project aligns perfectly with the Erasmus+ program's objectives of promoting social inclusion and health enhancement. It is being carried out through the collaboration of seven partner organizations from six countries over an 18-month period, from December 2024 to May 2026.
